Endurance Coach, Athlete, and Yoga Instructor Sage Rountree Presents Yoga for Athletes Workshop

October 15, 2008, Washington, DC - Circle Yoga is pleased to present a workshop "Yoga for Athletes with Sage Rountree" on Saturday, October 18 from 1-4pm. Rountree is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, USA Triathlon and USA Cycling certified coach, and author of The Athlete's Guide to Yoga. This three-hour workshop, appropriate for all levels of yoga and athletic experience, will introduce poses to increase flexibility, core strength, balance, and focus.

Sage Rountree's three-hour workshop is appropriate for all levels of yoga and athletic experience and will cover:

  • improving flexibility, especially in hips and hamstrings
  • building core strength for several specific sports
  • poses that hone balance
  • yoga as mental training
